1). Deposits are required for your booking unless otherwise stated.
The balance becomes due 28 days before the start date of your holiday.
No contract exists until we have acknowledged your booking deposit with an electronic receipt.
An invoice for the balance will be sent around 28 days before the start of the holiday. If the balance is not received by due date, the deposit will be forfeited and we will assume you do not wish to undertake the holiday.
2) Cancellations must be notified in writing (or email) by the person who made the booking.
Cancellation charges will be calculated from the date we receive such notice and are applied as follows;
28 days or more before commencement of holiday...........deposit forfeited.
Between 14 and 28 days before commencement of holiday.............50% of full cost
Less than 14 days before commencement of holiday.................100% of full cost
No refunds will be made to clients leaving the holiday.
3) Picos Rock and Snow accept no liability for the death of, or personal injury to, any person on their holidays, nor for any loss or damage resulting therefrom unless caused by the proven negligence of the company or its servants. Neither do we accept any responsibility for strikes, war, sickness, acts of God etc. over which we have no control.
4) We can only accept as clients, persons who have appropriate mountain holiday insurance. Ask if you'd like recommendations.
5) On our receipt of your deposit you agree to abide by the decisions of the group leader, who represents the company. If you commit any crime, or behave in a way such as to endanger the welfare and safety of the party our leader has the right to ask you to leave the holiday. Your booking is accepted on the basis that you fully understand the potential hazards involved in the mountain environment.
